Marco Giulio Giammarchi: born in Milano (Italy) on the 31.st of October 1960.

Elementary education: at the Leonardo da Vinci elementary school in Milano.

Junior high school at Scuola Media Cairoli, Milano.

High school at Liceo Scientifico Donatelli, Milano.

Degree in Physics ( Italian Laurea ) from the University of Milano, in 1984.

Summer Student at CERN in 1983.

Guest Scientist at Fermilab (USA) in 1985.

Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (Infn) Research Associate, at Milano, since 1988.

PhD. in Physics from the University of Milano , in 1989.

Infn Senior Scientist, since 2000.

Infn Milano Astroparticle Physics Coordinator, from 2006 to 2012.

Head of the Milano Antimatter group, since 2005.

Qualified as Full Professor of Fundamental Interactions in 2014.

Guest Scientist at Bern University, during 2015.

Spokesperson of the QUPLAS (QUantum interferometry and gravitation with Positrons and LASers) experiment at the Como L-NESS Laboratory.

Qualified as Full Professor of Fundamental Interactions in 2018.
